I really enjoyed my meal at Fudo! What a great sushi spot in metro Atlanta that is reasonably priced and has lots of options to keep you coming back. I went on a random thursday night and my boyfriend and I thought "surely we won't need reservations" - wrong. Make your reservations! Fudo was poppin and a table for 2 took about 30 minutes. The interior is modern and dimly lit - a great spot for a date night, but because of how crowded it was, it was a bit loud. I loved looking at all their roll options and our server (Grace) was super helpful in pointing out some of the most popular rolls of each kind. I went with the Fantasy roll and it was exactly what I was looking for - if you love shrimp tempura rolls, this one's for you. My boyfriend, a hardcore LOTR fan, got the LOTR roll - though expensive, it was good too! Loved the flavor of the wagyu on top. Especially for the Fantasy roll, I was super impressed with how many pieces it comes with for a very fair price point ($18). We shared a small plate of brussels which were good! Fair amount of free parking in the area - it did take a minute to find a spot but you'll find one eventually. Will definitely come back in the future and remember to make a reservation next time!

A former co-worker of mine lives in Atlanta and suggested we meet for lunch at his favorite sushi bar: Fudo. Fudo is a top tier sushi spot. From what I hear, it's packed all the time. So reservations are suggested. The menu offers an enormous variety of quality sushi and 50 specialty rolls. The biggest challenge is deciding what to order! We started with the Dumpling Soup with wontons and scallions, followed by Tori Karaage (also called Japanese Fried Chicken). Both were great. Since we both like tuna with some heat, we ordered three different rolls: Star is Born Roll, Spicy Mega Tuna Roll and Spicy Tuna On The Rock Roll. All packed great flavor, were good size portions and artfully displayed. We were filled after this feast. Probably the only negative was the service. It seemed to take forever to get our order placed and the food served. Since my friend is a regular, he suspected they were short on help. The restaurant was full at Noon on a Friday. Wish we had a few more diners so we could have tried more menu items. We'll make that a priority for our next visit.

Recently experienced Fudo via a 3rd party delivery by my daughter. I selected the King Kong roll from the menu pictures on reviews as I was not able to view menu on website without placing an order. The King Kong roll had tuna and avocado, my favorite ingredients and description stated a baked topping. Upon receipt it appeared to consist of fine panko crumbs. The roll itself was tasty and to go order came with chopsticks, soy sauce, white ginger (another preference) and wasabi. Experience was good overall and roll moderately priced at @12. I would visit to fully access service and current menu items.

I've been to Fudo a couple times but this is my first review. Parking is limited not in the deck. There is a parking deck that is right there and isn't too far walking distance. The restaurant can get a little loud and depending on where you're sitting it can feel a tad tight or pressed for space. The quantity and quality of the rolls is what makes Fudo different! There's so many different types of rolls you can choose from and I've liked all the ones I've tried so far.

Reservation at 9pm. We arrived at 8:55. We were immediately seated. Great tasting sushi & typical provisions with such creative names! Fresh ingredients, precision rolling with plenty of ginger and wasabi. Unfortunately we had to send back the " Rock, Paper, Shrimp" crispy rice rolls because the rice was oily and cold. Ambiance: Great ambiance for an intimate date. Very dark in the restaurant- phone light needed to read menu. Service: Professional waitress. Seemed a bit surprised that we didn't care for Rock Paper, etc. Will return!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy, and lively even though it was cold and rainy outside. The greeting from the host's table was a bit dry, and it took a while for our food to be served, but it was busy so I get it. We ordered several rolls, and some sashimi. Unfortunately the menu didn't specify that the rolls we ordered were cooked. Even though they were good, we likely wouldn't have ordered those particular rolls because cooking them tends to make them heavy and we were anticipating a lighter lunch. I'd recommend asking ahead of time if you have a preference. Also, the restrooms only occupy one person at a time, so be prepared to wait if you have to use them. Overall, we had a decent experience.

WOWWWWW! When I say I was impressed with everything about Fudo I do mean everything. It's funny because I initially was reluctant to spend our Galentines Day here and I'm glad my girls pushed for it. Service is excellent and they have the cutest shirts that they should sell!! I got the Lychee Martini and it was delicious. We tried the fantasy roll, a star is born and I got the scallop hand roll. All were spectacular and maybe top 2 sushi I've ever had. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fried rice. All of the rolls sound delicious and are so beautifully presented. You probably can't go wrong with any of the rolls so pick the one that calls out to your taste buds.

Best sushi I've tried in Georgia! The rolls were packed with flavor and the fish was very fresh. Everything we ordered was a hit, especially the brussel sprouts as an appetizer. I loved the Mission Impossible and Avengers End Game roll. A Star Is Born roll was good as well, but a bit too saucy for me. I don't think you can go wrong with ordering anything here. The presentation is amazing and so is the food. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time but we did a walk in and waited around 20 minutes for a table. After we received our appetizers, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the rolls to come out. Other than that, the service was good and our waters were refilled often.

Fudo is a great date night spot. The restaurant is dimly lit and cozy in size. I will say if you aren't willing to wait as a walk in, that they do the typical ATL reservation: card on file and $20 a head if you cancel within a certain amount of time and your entire party must be there before you can be seated. My biggest gripe is that they do not allow any outside food or drink, even though they had sold out of their desserts and we were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had a cake for her and was willing to pay a cake cutting fee since they didn't have the desserts available, but they still said no. So for that, I'd say this is more of a date night place and not a place for group celebrations. The food is delicious. The fish is fresh and the rolls are packed with flavor. Everyone at the table love their food, from the Brussels sprouts and beef dumplings, to the tuna on the rocks and the star is born roll. I genuinely think you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Our drinks were quite strong, but the flavors paired nicely. First time having a dark liquor for the espresso martinis. Service was great, they are constantly refilling waters and checking to make sure we were having a good time.
